I am TJ — a single father, songwriter, and the founder of Single Dad Life.
I understand what it means to carry the responsibilities, pressures, joys, and sacrifices of parenting while trying to remain strong for your children. I also understand how isolating that journey can sometimes feel.
As a songwriter, I searched for music that honestly represented the experiences of single fathers. When I could not find the songs or the community I needed, I decided to help create them.
Single Dad Life began with a simple purpose: to make sure single fathers know they are seen, valued, and never alone.
What started as a personal story is becoming a community for fathers who continue to show up, love their children, and build stronger families—one day at a time.

Our Story
Single Dad Life was not born in a boardroom or a marketing meeting. It was born in the quiet moments after bedtime. In the exhausted pride of doing school pickup alone. In the space between work calls and homework help where a single father sits with his thoughts and wonders if anyone truly understands what this life is like.
The answer for too long has been no. Single fathers are one of the most underrepresented groups in parenting media, family content, and mainstream culture. Millions of men are raising children alone or primarily alone every single day and the world rarely stops to acknowledge them, celebrate them, or speak directly to them.
Single Dad Life exists to change that way of thinking permanently.
