This 7-day, 6-night safari is expertly crafted to position you at the heart of the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of nature’s most spectacular wildlife events. During the peak months of July through September, millions of wildebeest and zebra thunder across the plains in a dramatic northward journey, culminating in thrilling river crossings filled with raw power and excitement.

Your journey begins in Arusha, Tanzania, and takes you deep into the Southern Serengeti (Lake Ndutu), and finally to Northern Serengeti. These premier wildlife regions offer some of the finest game viewing in Africa, with outstanding opportunities to witness the migration while also enjoying excellent sightings of resident lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, and the Big Five.

A perfect balance of 2 scenic flights and strategic game drives allows you to maximize your time in the wild while traveling comfortably. Itinerary

Day 1	Arrive in Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Grand Melia Hotel, Arusha
	Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a warm welcome awaits you. Your dedicated Kilama Safaris representative will greet you personally at the airport, assist with immigration and customs formalities, and ensure a smooth private transfer to the luxurious Grand Melia Hotel in Arusha. This first evening is yours to relax and recover from your international journey. Settle into your elegant room, unwind by the pool, or enjoy a welcome drink while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Tanzania as you prepare for the adventure ahead. Full board.
Days 2-3	Drive to the Lake Ndutu Region – Experience the Off-Road Game Drives
	After breakfast, you’ll embark on a spectacular scenic drive through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, over the Ngorongoro Highlands, and into the vast golden plains of the Serengeti. This unforgettable journey showcases ever-changing scenery of dramatic escarpments, volcanic highlands, and wildlife-rich savannah. You will arrive at Ndutu Luxury Lodge in time for lunch and enjoy a one-night stay in this exclusive, intimate camp, ideally located in the heart of the southern Serengeti. After settling in, head out for an exciting afternoon game drive, followed by a morning game drive the next day before departure — offering superb opportunities to witness the incredible wildlife of the Serengeti.
Day 4-6	Take a Game Viewing Drive to Northern Serengeti National Park
	Start your day with an exciting morning game drive in the Ndutu area, one of the best regions for close predator encounters and abundant wildlife. After the game drive, you will collect a delicious picnic box lunch and begin your scenic drive north through the Serengeti ecosystem toward the Northern Serengeti. This full-day journey allows you to enjoy your lunch in the wild while soaking in the ever-changing landscapes and possible wildlife sightings along the way. You will arrive in the afternoon at the beautiful Kuria Hills Lodge or Sayari Camp, your home for the next three nights. Located in the heart of the Northern Serengeti, the lodge offers excellent access to the famous Mara River region and superb game viewing.
Day 7	Fly back to Arusha for International Flight Home
	After one last magical early morning game drive (weather and flight schedule permitting), you’ll be driven to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. Once in Arusha, we’ll take care of everything based on your flight timing. You’ll have access to a comfortable day room where you can rest, shower, and enjoy a final meal. Later, you’ll be transferred to Kilamanjaro International Airport in Arusha for your flight home. We hope the memories you’ve made with us in East Africa will stay with you forever, and that you’ll return to us again soon.
